Hershey Gardens Photo Summary

I hope everyone here in the US is having a great Memorial Day weekend! The weather here finally turned warm and sunny (though very breezy) after several days of cold drizzles.

Like I mentioned yesterday, we’ve taken a lot of local trips lately, including a recent day trip to Hershey. I’ll write more about that soon, but in the meantime, here are some of my favorite photos from our trip to Hershey Gardens.

We’ve been to the botanical gardens in Hershey before, but that was in the summer when the roses were in bloom. We went during the spring this year instead, and got a glorious eyeful of color-saturated tulips.

Enjoy!

  1. The flowers are just lovely! I loved Hershey! It’s such an adorable town.

  2. Wow, those flowers are so lovely!! I can feel the summer in the air already!!

  3. Truly awesome photos Jen! You know, we’ve been to Hershey before, but we totally missed the Botanical Gardens. Now we have a wonderful reason to return. Thanks for the smiles! 🙂 ~Terri

  4. Jen, what lovely gardens! All the tulips remind me of the Keukenhof Gardens in Holland. I heard those gardens had a slower go this year because of the unusually chilly weather. Here’s hoping you have sunny skies for your upcoming trip to Europe!

    • Thanks for the weather well-wishes, I’m hoping for nice sunny days as well! Funny you should mention Keukenhof Gardens – that’s on my list of places to visit one day. Unfortunately, for our upcoming trip to Amsterdam, the garden won’t be in its prime. I figured it makes more sense to go back again someday in the spring when it will all be in bloom.

  5. So beautiful! I like tulips, they are tender.
