Ice breaker…

The hardest part of a brief break from blogging is the first post. Instead of worrying about making my first returning post awesomely amazing and procrastinating with posting as a result, I thought I’d break the ice, free up my creativity, and look at this Dr. Seuss tree.

It’s not really a Dr. Seuss tree, but it sure looks like one! It looks like something Theodor Geisel would draw in his children’s books. I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to share this, as it is one of the coolest plants I’ve ever seen.

So here it is, I’m back, and I’ll be back with more postcards tomorrow πŸ™‚

  1. I saw some similarly strange plants on the French Riviera and it’s driving me crazy trying to figure out what they are. A Dr. Seuss tree is the perfect name!

  2. I agree, it’s always the hardest part. Once you publish your post, you are back in the game. When we take a week off blogging it’s so hard to get back to writing and interacting with your readers. However, at the end of the day, it’s so rewarding and worth it!

    • I agree – it’s only been two weeks since my last post, but since I had been posting daily, it feels like forever! Thanks for the comment – the support of my readers and other bloggers is what makes it all worth it πŸ™‚

Welcome back! How was the exam?

    • Thanks πŸ™‚ The test went pretty well actually – I was well prepared so despite all of the stress, I think there’s a really good chance I passed. Pennsylvania is really slow at releasing the results though, so I won’t know if I passed for another 6 weeks or so. Either way, I’m glad it’s out of the way!

  4. Welcome back. Where did you snap this imaginative flora, Jen?

  5. haha they really do. i’ve seen some interesting looking trees that i would think belong in dr seuss books out in california. but who knows… maybe i am just the strange one and they are normal looking trees to native californians. πŸ™‚

Let me know what you think!
