My brother and I are trying to plan our trip this fall, for a Caribbean escape using my Airtran flight credits. Airtran flies to Aruba, Bahamas, Bermuda, Cancun, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and San Juan, Puerto Rico, so we’ve got a lot of options. Another option (I probably have just enough points) would be to fly into one airport, like San Juan, and then hop on another short flight to an island served by British Airways or American Airlines (or their partners). I’m glad I found this Caribbean 101 post over at Travelwiseonline – it’ll help make narrowing down our choices a little easier!
