I’ve never stayed in a hostel (yet) but Milly has some great tips I’ll keep in the back of my mind for when I do try that method of lodgings. She perfectly describes my desire for low cost lodgings that also give weight to attributes like convenience, safety, and cleanliness.

  1. Another tip for keeping bed bugs out of your luggage is to put a dryer sheet or two in with your clothes. Supposedly, the smell of the dryer sheets deters crawly critters from taking up residence in your bags. I’m not sure if the science is totally sound, but we kept dryer sheets in all our bags throughout our travels, and we didn’t have any trouble with bed bugs. 🙂

  2. Hey Jen!
Thanks so much for re blogging my post 🙂 I love the photos you have up on your site – what type of camera do you use? Do you use any editing programs as well?

    • No problem! It was a great post!

As far as my photos, most of them are taken with my iPhone. For mobile editing I use an app called Camera! But for desktop editing I use Picasa.

My other camera is a 5-year old point and shoot cool pix I think.

      Hope that helps!

Let me know what you think!
