The 11 routes you should drive in the US for road trips.

Not much detail in terms of text, but this map is a great inspiration! Thinking back to the trips I took growing up or moving across the country, I’ve done all of Routes 6 and 5 (several times), and most of Routes 11, 10, 9, 8, 2, and 1. That only leaves Routes 3, 4, and 7 as roads never traveled – mostly because we tended to travel from the northeast, and neither of those routes made sense for getting to our destinations. But still, completing most of 8 out of 11 routes isn’t bad!

  1. This _is_ very inspiring! We prefer to break the US down by regions though: Northwest, Southeast, Northeast, etc. Which of these routes was your favourite?

Let me know what you think!
