MuddyFeet Adventures


Green upon green upon grey.
Polished stone affixed above rolling and often jagged rock.
Lush, forested vegetation circumnavigated by raging river flow.

Natives, cast aside for various viruses. Sacred monuments and locales of worship now money making opportunities for the local government. Majesty and awe, inspiration and contemplation. Stand and stare. Breathe.

A new appreciation for time and the power of perseverance abounds. So much work by seemingly “little” people. No challenge though is too great. Only time allows greatness to unfold. Each chisel stroke moves the end result closer and closer until one day, the finished product is basking beautifully in the sunlight, only to soon be abandoned and neglected. To the jungle it returns only to one day be rediscovered, H.B.

We shall only believe in conjecture as to the truth of all that now sits affixed upon a Peruvian mountain top. To visit is to remove yourself…
