Free Flights on AirTran – Caribbean Part 2?

20130102-194425.jpg

I just got my credit card statement in the mail and I was incredibly excited to see that the signup bonus for the card posted to my account! After I spent $2000 in the first 3 months of having the card, they gave me enough credits for 2 round trip flights in coach, or 1 RT in business class. It’s all spending I would have done anyway! Groceries, gas, Christmas presents, etc.

And as another benefit to having the card, they also gave me two one way vouchers for business class upgrades! So either way, I’ve got some awesome traveling to do this year.

I’m already daydreaming of where I’ll go – they fly to Jamaica, the Bahamas, Aruba, Puerto Rico, Mexico, the Dominican Republic…. Can’t wait!!

Other cards that have helped me earn free travel include the British Airways VISA, the Southwest VISA, and the Chase Sapphire Preferred.

  1. I’m partial to Jamaica-was married there 10 years ago. Excited to hear where you’ll go!

    • Thanks for the suggestion! I think it would depend on if my husband can come with me on the trip or not. He would love to go to Jamaica, but wouldn’t care so much about the other destinations. If he comes, we go to Jamaica. If he can’t get the time off of work, then I’ll go somewhere else so he doesn’t feel like he’s missing out.

  2. Wow! Thanks for the great tips and suggestions! Maybe I can get to Jamaica! http://ohtheplaceswesee.com
